Learning Buteyko with Jennifer was a top notch, transformational experience. As I discovered, it’s not easy trying to change breathing habits, and Jennifer was always patient and encouraging. Her calm, relaxed demeanour is a testament to Buteyko on it’s own! After just several weeks, I noticed a reduction in symptoms and exercise was easier and more enjoyable. As a movement instructor, it has changed the way I think about breathing for myself and my clients. I’d highly recommend Jennifer to anyone looking to try Buteyko - it’s one of the best investments I’ve made in my health.

[After learning a new breath exercise.] I love the after-glow the next day! I felt Gandhi-like as I moved through the day with non-violent resistance guiding me on the outside and an increased threshold for BS on the inside. Storms are still raging for sure but there is a calmer captain aboard!!!!

Focusing on healing my breath, which we do multiple times a minute, has created a dramatic change on my daily life. My cold feet and hands, which I assumed was “just me” subsided, I no longer wake during the night, rather sleep right through, and my headaches are less. Jennifer, herself is wonderful to work with, she creates a safe working environment to learn and provides a combination of practical breathing techniques with understanding how we breathe on a physical/physiological level. Jennifer is very supportive and empathetic, allowing me to work at my own pace making this process my own. Working with Jennifer has been truly transformational, and can’t recommend it enough.

I originally tried to get into the Buteyko work through books and online resources – but I was making very little progress and my reactions to trying the exercises were very stressful. When I heard about Jennifer’s work, I decided to have a final try at the work with her – and I’m so glad I did! Jennifer was very supportive, and the information she provided was clear and helpful. I made SO much more progress in my few sessions with her – I would highly recommend working with Jennifer if you want to make headway with the Buteyko approach.

I am really enjoying my breath journey and learning a lot about myself in the process. I so appreciate your introduction to the method your guidance and your patience. Everything you presented was perfect. Your information taught me the method in a logical order making it simple and approachable. I especially loved the pictures of the Olympic athletes, so impactful. Your explanation of the biochemical process was also so meaningful, I am one who needs the science to buy-in. It was your guidance that has encouraged me to continue on this journey and hopefully at some point be able to offer this method to my clients.

I found Jennifer to be a delightful person and an excellent teacher of the Buteyko method. My daughter recommended her and the course after she was able to come off her asthma medication. The written course content is easy to follow and is reinforced, added to and made more personal in the Zoom sessions. I experienced a significant improvement in symptoms and am currently being supported by Jennifer as I learn to ‘go it alone’. The course is not a ‘quick fix’ and requires commitment and perseverance but Jennifer is a therapist who has a warm and genuine desire to help you achieve your best possible outcome.

Jennifer is a wonderfully warm and sensitive teacher, incorporating the fundamentals of Buteyko breathing through a trauma informed lens within the context of these complex times. She clearly models by example and her guidance has been invaluable, especially in terms of TMJ relief — I haven't slept this well in years. I highly recommend working with Jennifer to help integrate the power of your breath into your daily life.
