People want to be happy. We spend a lot of time trying to be happy. We try to not feel sad, mad, bad. We try to gather things, experiences, people, to try to make us feel happy. We are afraid of not being happy.
When we let go of fear, and we start to practice gratitude, we start to experience joy. There is happiness in a cup of tea on a sunny day. There is happiness in quiet meditation. There is happiness in time with friends. When we start to notice what we have, when we start to practice gratitude, we stop living in fear, and we genuinely feel happiness.
It's not happy people who are thankful. It is thankful people who are happy.
Welcome to my blog. It's about yoga, breathing, design, books and me. I tend to take in food like I take in information in small, digestible bits, even eating breakfast in two or three parts. Second Breakfast is something small to read, something to feed the brain or the soul, and goes well with a cup of tea.
