the practice

Step into The Loft. Whatever came before — the morning rush, the week's weight, the list of things still undone — set it down. This time is for you.
Group classes in The Loft are led, not curated to each individual the way a yoga therapy session is. But that doesn't mean they're impersonal. There might be a runner in the room, a person who didn't sleep, a shoulder that needs tending. I see you. As we move together, things coalesce — a warmth, a shared attention, laughter.
The classes are rooted in the same philosophy as all of my work — curiosity over correction, the whole self over the isolated part, breath as the thread that connects everything. We are not here to fix things. We are here to learn something true about ourselves, and to carry it with us when we leave.
We close classes wisely — a stillness, an invitation to set an intention, and the dedication of our practice. It is a small act, and a radical one.
You arrive for yourself. You leave with something to give.
Same classes, same teacher, same quality of attention — just new names that better reflect what actually happens in the room. You'll see these titles on the schedule starting in July.
class descriptions
the embodied hour

Your body has a lot to say. This is how you listen.
coming soon
Some days it's a workout. Some days it's moving meditation. It depends on what's needed — and who's in the room.
What stays constant is the quality of attention. We move through the whole body with curiosity — learning what's there, following what we find. The class is grounded in yoga and informed by anatomy, somatic movement, and breath.
We always leave time to settle. To let the practice land. To remember why we came.
People come because their backs hurt, or their hips are tight, or they're stressed. They keep coming because something shifts off the mat too — life feels less jarring, they're more present, more at home in themselves.
Accessible to all levels. Options are offered so you can work at your own edge, wherever that is today. Maximum 8 people.
the embodied 75

Your weekend begins here.
Saturdays at 9:30am starting soon
Saturday morning is a threshold — the week behind you, the weekend ahead. This class is how you cross it well.
We move through the whole body with curiosity — learning what's there, following what we find. The class is grounded in yoga and informed by anatomy, somatic movement, and breath.
The extra time creates space to linger, to explore, to follow a thread further than the hour allows. We often practice pranayama together — breathing practices that are, in many ways, the heart of this work.
We leave time to settle. To let the practice land. To remember why we came. Begin your weekend already home in yourself.
Accessible to all levels. Options are offered so you can work at your own edge, wherever that is today. Maximum 8 people.
pranayama

A practice in presence.
Breath is more than air moving in and out. In the yogic tradition, pranayama — the practice of conscious breathing — works with energy itself. It is subtle, and it is powerful. Some people call it magic. They aren't entirely wrong.
This eight-week course offers a progressive, traditional pranayama practice, approached with the same curiosity and care as all the work we do here. We build gradually, never forcing, always listening. By the end of each class you will feel it — a settledness, a groundedness, a sense of having arrived somewhere in yourself.
Because this work is also informed by modern breath science, the benefits don't stay on the mat. The breath becomes easier in daily life. Clearer. More available to you when you need it most.
No experience necessary. An open curiosity about your own breath is all you need. Maximum 8 people.
the nourished hour

Permission to stop.
formerly Relax & Renew – May 31
We call it an hour. It's actually 90 minutes. Some things are too good to rush.
In a life that asks everything of you, this asks nothing.
No effort. No screens. No one needs you here. Just 90 minutes of being held, deeply rested, and genuinely nourished — in every sense of the word.
You will leave softer than you arrived.
We rest deeply in supported poses, and close with yoga nidra — a guided meditation that takes you to the threshold of sleep and back.
And then there is tea.
The last Sunday afternoon of each month. Worth clearing your schedule for.
Maximum 6 people.
